The school's activity-centre page, last edited on 24 February 2026, describes a chess course that runs through the whole school year, where pupils learn the rules and play together, and ends with a tournament before the summer holiday. The page gives no weekday and does not say whether the course runs in the 2026-27 school year; it is the only source.
