Tournaments for children and young players 4

The youth tournaments of Oslo are run by the district youth association together with the clubs, and most are played in schools. The Oslo championship for children and youth has a date given at Korsvoll skole in October 2026, with Schakklubben av 1911 as organiser; the school-teams championship filled Rødtvet skole in March 2026; the Trygve Waage Cup brings club teams of players aged thirteen or under together on a weekend in late January; and the open championship for girls and women of all ages moves between venues, most recently Oslo Schakselskap's rooms in Bogstadveien.

Children's Grand Prix events run by single clubs appear on those clubs' cards.
